University of Southern Philippines Foundation Chorale will finally arrive on December 15 and 16. After months of preparations, the ‘Songs and Rhythms’ will be staged at USPF Theater for performing Arts and everyone is expecting a full house.
The concert will have covers of Christmas songs, select pop songs, and Visayan songs, all of which will fill our hearts with joy. It is timely to celebrate this yuletide season with songs and rhythms as we will go down nostalgia alley with our all time favorite hits.
Other than the USPF Chorale singing, we will also witness one-of-a-kind performances of their special guests like the renowned Cebu Philharmonic Orchestra which will seal their choice of USPF as their new home. We will also hear songs and melodies from Miss Knch Lhnn Cabillo, Miss. Ma. Bella Festejo-Rizarri, and Mr. Helmer B. Montejo. These too have marked their names in music.
Whoever thought of having these groups together should be given an award because judging by the insanely spectacular preparation of the show’s creative director and musical director, Mr. Glen Albutra and Mr. Roberto del Rosario respectively, the idea is absolutely brilliant. Kudos should also be given to all as this concert will be a great success.
