JOHNDORF Ventures Corp. (JVC) broke grounds last April 8 for its latest subdivision within the township it is developing in Mactan Island.
JVC president and CEO Richard Lim led the ceremonies for “Navona,” the new subdivision that will feature modern Asian townhouses with Baroque influence owing to the origin of the name, a major city square in Rome, Italy.
The activity to announce the new JVC project comes as the company is about to complete Astana subdivision, and in the heels of a plan to construct the third Cebu-Mactan bridge that will connect near the place.
It also came just over a month after the Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF), commonly known as Pag-IBIG Fund, awarded Johndorf Ventures Corp. as “Top Developer” for the Visayas and Mindanao.
Astana has been fully sold out in less than eight months, attributing to an increased uptake of buyers among overseas Filipino workers (OFW) who comprise 40 percent of the total buyers of Astana townhouses.
Navona will be developed in a 3-hectare property south of Astana but within Johndorf Communities, a 12-hectare township planned for six subdivisions and a commercial hub in Calawisan, Lapu-Lapu City.
Asian living
Navona is the fourth subdivision at the township after Hanniyah Homes I and II, built earlier by subsidiary Prohomes Development, Inc., and Astana, according to Michelle Chiu-Bacungan, sales and marketing manager of the company.
Consistent with the concept for Johndorf Communities, Navona will promote Asian living, a refreshing suburban lifestyle meant for urban achievers that responds to their families’ aspirations and evolving needs in a metropolis, she noted.
Navona is positioned for value-driven, vibrant and dynamic residents, entrepreneurs and business operators who prefer living close to both the metropolis and the seafront yet wanting to live in a tranquil environment, added Bacungan.
Navona will feature reasonably-priced townhouses. “You can be confident your hard-earned money will bring you the best home and carry out a wise investment that will give you sound returns in time,” she pointed out.
Johndorf has been developing subdivisions for over 25 years, building better communities in northern Mindanao and Cebu.
