DRUG charges will be filed today against a woman who was caught with an estimated P1.5 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation inside a Cebu City inn last Saturday.
Lovely Mondragon, 40, was arrested inside the JJS Nest Inn at P. Gullas St. in barangay Sto Niño, Cebu City at 7:15 p.m.
Police moved in after the poseur-buyer bought 25 grams of shabu worth P80,000 from Mondragon inside her rented room, said Supt. Romeo Santander, chief of the City Intelligence Branch (CIB).They confiscated 4 big packs of shabu at 25 grams each; another six medium packs of shabu at 5 grams each; and 30 small packs of shabu or 127.4 grams amounting to P1.5 million, Santander said.
Mondragon is now detained at the Cebu City Police Office detention cell and will be charged with violation of section 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act./Correspondent Jhunnex Napallacan
