Megabond keeps record unscathed
MEGABOND remained the lone unbeaten team in the tournament after they triumphed over CMI, 61-54, in the Architects + Engineers Basketball Association Corporate Cup on Saturday at the University of San Carlos gym.
The win was Megabond’s third in a row while dealing CMI its first setback of the season.
In other games, Fenestram forged a tie for second place with a hard-earned 75-69 win in overtime over the defending champions Dorma.
Davies also logged in its first win of the season with a 65-58 victory over Phoenix.
Mike Cinco exploded for 25 points, 15 rebounds and five assists to tow Davies to their first victory in three tries.
Phoenix, which got 22 points and 12 boards from Paul Sasan, fell to 0-3.
