To ensure a developmentally appropriate learning experience, the school guarantees the use of child-friendly and non-toxic materials. Wooden manipulatives, paint, glue, and art materials have exclusively been shipped from the States. For the eating utensils, these have been shipped from Singapore.
With a good interplay between Progressive and Traditional approaches, this developmentally appropriate and child-centered school, with a small teacher-student ratio, focuses on each child’s optimal learning capacity. The teacher provides the opportunity for each child to socialize with his/her peers. They are also given the freedom to manipulate different materials. This can help the child become the master of his/her own learning experience. The different learning activities will become the perfect avenue for him/her to be a confident-lifelong learner.
The LEAP School – Learn, Explore, and Play also offers After-School Tutorials from 3:30PM-6:30PM, Monday-Friday. It is open to children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. This program has a small teacher-student ratio – 1:6 to make the environment very conducive for learning.
