A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was killed by his 15-year-old friend in an accidental shooting incident in barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
The victim was shot in the head by a 15-year-old boy who was reportedly playing with a loaded revolver.
Cebu Daily News is withholding the names of the two minors.
Police said the 15-year-old boy pointed the gun at his friend’s head in a playful gesture.
The gun did not go off when the boy squeezed the trigger twice. The gun finally went off in the third try, police said.
The incident happened in the house of the 15-year-old boy.
Police failed to recover the gun. SPO1 Rommel Bancog said an investigation is underway to determine who owns the gun.
