At least 24 structures were damaged in a fire which hit sitio Langub in barangay Poblacion in Lapu Lapu City about 10:41 am.
The fire believed to have been caused by the explosion of a butane canister lasted for 20 minutes.
At about 11:20 am, another fire was reported from a shipyard located inside the Ouano Compound in barangay Looc in Mandaue City.
Initial report show that workers were wielding a container van when spark landed on a nearby foam.
The fire was controlled after 15 minutes.
