2006 Fury logs 2 wins in Sinulog Homecoming Cup
THE 2006 Fury continued its hot streak as it tallied two victories over the weekend in Division 3 of the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference Sinulog Homecoming Cup at the USC North Campus gym.
The Fury first routed the 2004 Rebels, 83-45, before escaping the 2007 Flyboys, 62-60, victory to push its win-loss record to 4-2.
Justin delos Reyes had 21 points in the thrilling victory over the Flyboys.
In other games, the reigning champions 2011 Elevens stayed close to the league-leading Batch 2007 Waybus as they registered their third straight win with a dominant 93-61 victory over the 2005 Chameleons.
Heady point guard Dave Guardiario flaunted his scoring ability with 22 points while Dom Ortega added 13. Gen Bongo and Elijah Daniot contributed 11 each.
The Chameleons salvaged the weekend with a 64-60 win over the 2014 Underdogs. Randy Romero topscored for 2005 with 23 points while Jan Palos had a stellar outing of his own with 21. The Chameleons are now tied with their victims at 2-3.
