FIRE broke out in a pharmacy along M. dela Concepcion Street, barangay Pasil, Cebu City yesterday afternoon.
The Cebu City Fire Department received the alarm at 4:38 p.m., and the fire was controlled 20 minutes later.
Fire investigators said P1,000 worth of medicine was damaged by the fire.
The pharmacy is owned by Lornan de Gracia.
SFOI Edwin Handayan, Cebu City fire investigator, said an old electric wire sparked and caused the fire.
No one was reported hurt during the incident.
