2-day Sinulog Badminton Open set Jan. 9-10
THE Sinulog Badminton Open 2016 tournament will unfold this weekend (Jan. 9-10) inside the Metro Sports Badminton Center in Lahug, Cebu City.
The tournament will be participated by top badminton smashers in the country, as well as Cebu’s very own Kevin Bergantin, Dexter Opalla, Fritz Sagaad, among others.
The competition will have two categories, namely, the Age Group category and the Adult category.
The Age Group category will have 11-Under, 13-Under, 15-Under and 17-Under divisions while the Adult category will have Levels G, F, E, CD, and the premier Open Level.
All categories will feature Men and Ladies’ Singles, Men and Ladies’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
Winners, according to meet organizers MRF Events and White Feathers Club, will go home with cash prizes, medals and Babolat badminton products.
Meanwhile, the event’s leveling which was supposed to end yesterday, was extended to January 8 to accommodate late registrants.
