SEN. Gregorio Honasan pledged to include environmental issues in his platform if he is elected vice president.

The United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) vice presidential bet made the promise to the environmental group Sugboanong Nagpakana sa Kalikupang in a visit to the University of the Philippines-Cebu (UP Cebu) to watch the presidential debate.

Environmental groups in Cebu are attending the debate held Sunday afternoon to lobby for environmental programs from the presidential candidates.

Donning costumes that represent plants and animals, the group marched to UP Cebu to show support to the 2nd PiliPinas Presidential Debates.
