Expect rain in Cebu most of the day today
It will rain most of the day today.
Alice Canasa,Philippine Atmospheric, Geophyiscal and Astronomical Services Administration (Pag-asa) weather specialist, said that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and Low Pressure Area (LPA) brought rains in Visayas.
“The whole province of Cebu is affected by these weather system. There will be light to moderate and at times heavy rain,” Canasa said.
Pagasa Mactan was able to record 15 millimeters of rainfall since Thursday night up to 8 a.m. in Friday.
Canasa reminds the public to bring umbrellas and coats.
The continous rains will also likely cause floods and landslides in different parts of Cebu.
“Everyone is advised to take precautionary measures.”
