Cebu is fast becoming a gastronomic melting pot. What with its slew of homegrown restaurants and international chains constantly stirring up the Cebuanos’ appetite for great food. But have you heard of this hidden gem called Kayu: Kitchen + Bar?

Coming from the Cebuano word “kalayo,” which means fire, Kayu aims to ignite the taste buds with an exquisite fusion of flavors in each of their savory dishes. Chef Francis “Izzy” Sy said that in every dish he creates, he makes sure that all five senses are triggered by the colorful ingredients, heavenly aroma, rich flavor, distinct texture, and even the sizzle and crunch of their sumptuous food.

Kayu offers a picture-perfect fine dining experience with their cozy indoor and al fresco dining areas that can accommodate up to 80 people. They also have a private function room with a projector set-up; perfect for meetings and small private events.
