WIDOW’S MURDER
Netizens voiced shock and sympathy on learning about the robbery and murder of Lucia Albios, a widow who died in her house at Sitio Caimito Sta. Ana in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City yesterday.
Jun Diaz said the authorities must investigate the carpenters who are working on the house.
Another netizen, Evelyn Benavente agreed and wrote, “You could be right in your suspicion, the laborers who work in the house.”
Meanwhile, netizen Belen Sandoval wrote, “Ano ba panahon ngayon (What are the times we live in), we are not safe even in our own house, omg.”
The body was discovered at 9 a.m. by a neighbor who saw the bloodied Albios slumped on the folding bed.
Councilor David Tumulak asked those who had knowledge of the crime to help the police solve the case.
