The Philippines’ Nelda Ibe wins Miss Globe 2017 first runner-up

THE PHILIPPINES’ bet Nelda Ibe finished first runner-up at the Miss Globe 2017 held in Albania last Friday, November 3.

The title was won by Do Tran Khanh Ngan of Vietnam.

Ibe through her Instagram account posted, “It was an honor and privilege to represent you my beloved country, The Philippines! To God be the Glory!”

According to the Binibining Pilipinas website, Ibe finished Bachelor of Arts in English (Literature) in Tarlac State University. She is a cadet pilot.  Before she joined Binibining Pilipinas this year, Ibe joined Miss World Philippines in 2014 and finished second princess.

Stella Araneta, chair of Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BPCI) through Binibining Pilipinas Facebook page congratulated Ibe.

“Nelda showed grace and elegance befitting a proud Filipina, making her a true inspiration to women all over the world. BPCI is proud of you, and will continue to support you in your future endeavors,” the post read.

Ibe is also under Kagandahang Flores camp.

The group’s official Instagram page also greeted her and said, “Our Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2017 Nelda Ibe is now Ms. Globe 2017 1st runner-up! Congratulations KFamilia Nelda!”

Other winners were Elena Latypova of Siberia (second runner-up), Alessia Coku of Albenia (third runner-up) and Simone Heijligers of Cape Verde (fourth runner-up).
