Cebu City Councilor Mary Ann De los Santos officially confirmed that she has joined the Bando Osmena-Pundok Kauswagan (BOPK) camp at the Lahug barangay hall.

Tarpaulins with the message “We are OK” flanked by the images of De los Santos and former Cebu City mayor Tomas Osmena are posted outside and inside the  barangay hall. ‘OK’ means Osmena Kami.

Osmeña in his speech said he saw De los Santos’ principles when he chose to be aligned with BOPK even if she was being offered the vice mayoral post under Team Rama.

Tents were placed outside the barangay for De Los Santos’ supporters who spend time to witness her announcement.

Among the officials who witnessed the event were Lahug barangay chairman Jovito Taborada, Councilors Margot Osmena, Nestor Archival, Sisinio Andales, Alvin Dizon, Nida Cabrera, Lea Ouano-Japson and Reps. Raul Del Mar and Rodrigo Abellanosa of Cebu City’s north and south districts respectively.

The event started with a public invitation from former mayor Osmena for De los Santos to join BO-PK.
