The three suspects involved in the robbery of the Bingo Boutique at the Insular Mall in Tabok, Mandaue City were formally charged yesterday in court.

Roy Deiparine, 31, of Barangay Pagsabungan, Mandaue City and his cohorts, “Toto” and “Brad” were charged with robbery.

Elements of the Investigation and Detection Management Branch (IDMB) of the Mandaue Police Office arrested Deiparine at the mall’s parking lot in a follow-up operation on the same day the robbery was committed on May 19. He had been positively identified by a mall security guard. Deiparine,

the only one arrested, denied involvement in the robbery where P68,000 was lost to two armed men pretending to be customers.

Police will soon release the facial composites of the remaining suspects.
