MORE than 2,000 seniors received their P2,000 cash aid at the Don Vicente Rama High School in Barangay Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City Saturday.

Seniors began lining up at the site as early as 7 a.m. to receive the cash aid, the fourth tranche scheduled for this year.

Augustina Mangulare said that she will used the cash aid for her maintenance.

Reymelio Delute, who filed the complaint against former Cebu City mayor Michael Rama, Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella and the City Council in relation to the P20,000 calamity case of 2013, headed the cash distribution in Basak San Nicolas.

He said the cash distribution was orderly so far.

Delute said those who are bed ridden were visited by disbursement officers and volunteers in their homes so they can receive their cash aid.
