RESIDENTS of Sitio Looc, Barangay Maribago in Lapu-Lapu City found the remains of a headless 50-year-old man at 6:30 am Sunday.

SPO2 Frederick Eslit of the Lapu-Lapu City police said the headless victim was identified as Raymundo Garbo, a caretaker of a cockfighting arena who also doubles as a game fowl handler and feather duster maker.

Eslit said the victim has no permanent address and visits the area during fiesta day. He said the victim’s head was still missing.

But Eslit said they found light brown short pants and gray shoes at the back of a house inhabited by a certain Flora Paquibot several meters away from the crime scene that they believed were worn by the unidentified assailant.
