A 20-YEAR-OLD suspected drug user was shot in the stomach by an unidentified assailant while he stood beside a road in sitio Kilawan, barangay Tanke in Talisay City at past 1 am Sunday.
SPO1 Yvonne Ilustrisimo of the Talisay City police said the gunman approached Miko Daan and shot him. Daan was rushed to the Talisay City District Hospital.
There were no bullet shells in the crime scene when police arrived there. Daan supposedly had yet to surrender after the police conducted their Oplan Tokhang in the area last month.
