Tallo steers Cobras to perfect 6-0 record

Two-time league MVP Mark Jayven Tallo scored 14 points to lead the Southwestern University (SWU)-Phinma Cobras to a 65-57 win over the University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers Thursday night at the packed Cebu Coliseum.

The win gave SWU sole possession of the lead in the team standings at the end of the first round with a perfect 6-0 card.

UV, which got 12 points and 11 rebounds from Bassiere Sackour, fell to 5-1.
