A taxi driver lost his earnings and vehicles to two robbers in Talisay City past noon Thursday.

Henry Nailon, a 24-year-old resident of Barangay Tabok in Mandaue City, trembled in fear when he reported the incident to the police, said PO3 Erwin Carbonquillo of the Talisay City police precinct.

The suspects, who pretended as passengers, reportedly flagged Nailon’s taxi in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City and asked to be taken to Talisay City.

On reaching the South Coastal Road, the still unidentified suspects pointed a gun at Nailon, declared a holdup and took the victim’s P1,100 cash and cab, Carbonquillo said.

The suspects didn’t hurt Nailon of EC Friends Taxi. “Gitagaan na lang intawn namo og plete aron makauli siya sa ilang balay sa Mandaue. (We gave him money so he could go home),” Carbonquillo said
