Police shot down the cousin of suspected drug lord Rowen “Yawa” Secretaria and arrested two others in Barnangay Ermita, Cebu City at 8 a.m. Monday.
SPO4 Reynaldo Orenes of the Taboan police precinct said Secretaria’s cousin, brother, and another person were identified as the same personalities who killed a 14-year-old high school student in Barangay Pasil last Saturday.
“We conducted a follow up operation this morning. Secretaria’s cousin, however, tried to shoot it out with the team, prompting us to shot him,” Orenes said in an interview.
Rolan Secretaria, one of the suspects in the murder of a 14-year-old high school student in Barangay Pasil last Saturday, allegedly tried to shoot it out with the police, prompting the operatives to neutralize him, said Senior Supt. Joel Doria, Cebu City police chief.
Rolan was brought to the Cebu City Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival by doctors there.
Recovered from his possession were one .45 pistol, one .28 pistol, and 40 small plastic sachets containing shabu.

An hour after Rolan was killed, three other suspects in Diada’s murder identified as Michael Secretaria, Gerald Flores, and Daryl Aabanto surrendered to barangay chairperson Felicisimo Rupinta of Ermita, Cebu City.
