Traffic was heavy along the Banilad-Talamban road after a truck got stuck in a skywalk at past 10 am Wednesday.

The Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) said the container van on top of the truck got stuck under the skywalk as it was passing through the road on the way to Cebu City.

CCTO operator Boboy Lagahit said it took 30 minutes before the truck was removed. They had to release some air from the truck’s tires so that the truck can already pass through without getting snagged in the skywalk.

Lagahit said CCTO withheld the driver’s license until the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) can inspect the skywalk for possible damage.
