November 02,2016 - 03:15 PM

AS the National Animal Safety and Protection Month of October drew to a close, the Cebu Companion Animal Practitioners Association (CCAPA) hosted an event called “OctoberPets” last October 23 at Camp Lapu-Lapu in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City to give free consultations, vaccinations and deworming to pets.

The activity was participated by veterinary students from Southwestern University Phinma and Cebu Technological University Barili campus.

The event started at 9 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m., serving more than 150 dogs and cats.
“The message that we want to spread ‘responsible pet ownership,’” Dr. Max Talle, CCAPA public relations officer, revealed. /UP Cebu MassCom student Samara Rhea B. Sollano
