THE Rollway Custom Brokerage nabbed the championship in the Open Division of the 2016 Lapu-Lapu City Fiesta Basketball League by blowing away Tuburan, 126-96, in the finals Thursday night at the Opon Gym.

Rollway, owned by Rolly Delapieza, was just too tough to stop as they had five different players score in double figures led by the 25 of former Southwestern University reinforcement Landry Sanjo, the 21 of former pro Jojo Tangkay and the 20 of former two-time Cesafi MVP Macmac Tallo, who was named as the Finals MVP.

Another former MVP of the Cesafi, Shooster Olago, added 18, while veteran forward Ferdinand Lusdoc, pitched in 16.

The game was close after the first as Rollway led by just a single point, 32-31. But Rollway imposed their offensive prowess after that as they went on to score over 30 points in two of the next three periods to come away with the lopsided victory.

Former Cesafi Rookie of the Year-MVP Wowie Escosio had 18 for Tuburan while ex-PBA guard Eliud Poligrates and Eman Calo, who was named as the season MVP, added 15 markers each.

The scores:
Rollway (126) – Sanjo 25, Tangkay 21, Tallo 20, Olago 18, Lusdoc 16, Abad 5, Fabian 5, Arong 2
Tuburan (96) -Escosio 18, Calo 15, Poligrates 15, Bongaciso 12, Armecin 8, Menguito 7, Luga 6, Belande 6, Cincoflores 4, Octobre 2.
