Phil Younghusband hit a free-kick in the 82nd minute to help the Philippine Azkals force a 2-2 draw against Indonesia in the 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup Tuesday night at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan.

The win kept the slim chances of the Philippines to qualify to the semifinals of the prestigious tournament alive.

The Philippines will need to win its match against defending champions Thailand in the same venue on Friday to have a chance to qualify to the next round.

The Azkals also hope that Singapore, which lost 0-1 to Thailand earlier in the day, will beat Indonesia also on Friday at the Rizal Memorial field so they could secure solo second place in their group.
