MANDAUE City Mayor Luigi Quisumbing said he will wait for a copy of the affidavit of a barangay chairman accused of pointing a gun at two women in a gathering last Friday.
“The City Council is investigating the incident. We are determined to investigate the matter thoroughly and to make sure any penalties (will be carried out),” Quisumbing said.
Bihag reportedly poked a .45 pistol at two women identified as Rolita Balani, 59, and Winnie Sikad, who posted a 19-minute video clip of the incident on Facebook.
Quisumbing said he was shocked about what happened since he considered Bihag to be one of the amiable barangay officials in Mandaue City.
He said he already talked to the two women about the incident.
