National flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Tuesday announced the launching of a direct flight from Cebu to Singapore, Caticlan and Clark starting December 16.

Ryan Uy, PAL vice president for sales, said this new service reinforces the airline’s commitment to grow and further expand its presence in Cebu.

The new Cebu-Singapore route will bring the total number of international destinations PAL flies to from Cebu to six (6) by mid-December.

At present, PAL offers direct flights from Cebu to Los Angeles, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Incheon.

Uy said that with PAL, travelers may avail of a discounted roundtrip fare from Cebu to Singapore and back at $130, with travel tax of $68.

Promo rates are valid until the end of December this year for travel until the middle of March 2017.

Also on Dec. 16, PAL will inaugurate its daily Cebu-Caticlan and Cebu-Clark (via Caticlan) flights, bringing the total of domestic destinations it flies to from Cebu to 10.

Under current promo offerings, one-way flights from Cebu to Caticlan will cost P488 while Caticlan to Clark cost P988.
