CHRISTIAN “The Bomb” Araneta of the Omega Boxing Gym preserved his immaculate slate and did it in emphatic way as he scored a seventh-round knockout win over Philip Luis Cuerdo in the supporting main event of “Who’s Next?” Pro-Boxing Series 3 Friday night at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.

Araneta bombarded Cuerdo with solid combinations that sent the Peñalosa Stable fighter down to the canvas.

Cuervo (9W-3L-1D-4KOs) failed to beat the referee’s count, sealing Araneta’s 11th knockout win and 13th overall.

The ending came at the 1:06 mark of the seventh round.
