Gwen cited as outstanding lawmaker

REP. Gwendolyn Garcia of Cebu’s 3rd district was cited as one of the year’s Outstanding Congressmen in a ceremony held at the City Club, Alpha Land building in Ayala Avenue in Makati City Wednesday afternoon.
Harry Tambuatco, president and chief executive officer of Superbrands Marketing Inc said these awards are given to the legislators for what they have done and built for their constituents. Asked about Garcia, Tambuatco said the former Cebu governor turned legislator “tows the line on her own accord.”
The Outstanding Congressman Award recipients are said to be up to the challenge “to create the promised change” that the Duterte administration is pushing for.
