Four sachets of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and a cellular phone were seized from an inmate of Cebu City Jail during a greyhound operation on Wednesday afternoon.
The contrabands were seized from inmate Garry Villarta, 26, according to jail warden Supt. Jessie Calumpang.
Calumpang said Villarta will be facing drug possession charges before Cebu City Prosecutor’s Office.
The seized items will be turned over to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas for laboratory confirmation, he said.
