Pantino falls in doubles competition

CEBUANO netter Arthur Craig Pantino and Indian partner Siddharth Thakran lost to the Indian tandem of Siddhant Banthia and Parikshit Somani, 6-4, 6-2, in the opening round of the India – International Tennis Federation (ITF) tennis championships yesterday in Chandigarh, India.

Despite the loss, Pantino still has a chance to redeem himself as he is set to battle Roko Savin of Croatia in the second round of the singles play today.
