Liloan police arrested on Tuesday an elderly mother and her jobless son for selling a sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer.
Police said that it was Estelita Torregosa, 65, who took the cash from the poseur buyer, who bought a sachet of shabu from her son, Junny, 44.
The two transacted with the poseur buyer in their home in Sitio Taboc Lamac, Barangay Yati, said a police report which the Liloan Police Station posted on their Facebook page on Tuesday night.
Liloan Police led by P/Supt. Melbert Glade Esguerra also confiscated a floral pouch containing seven small sachets of shabu from Junny’s possession.
The shabu weighing around 0.48 grams and valued at P5, 664 will be turned over the PNP Crime Laboratory for analysis, the report said.
It added that Liloan police are now preparing the documentation for the filing of appropriate charges against the two suspects.
