A friend of mine posted the following call from her friend (which I have edited) for milk for babies in the evacuation centers. The friend will have sent off a box full of formula milk for the babies of the displaced today. I hope more would do the same.
“While DSWD food packs are continuing to reach the evacuation centers, these only contain sardines and rice. So no food for babies.
“Babies in the evacuation sites are drinking sugar dissolved in water because they don’t have food.
“Let’s send milk to the babies!
“If you want to donate, please purchase formula.
“No cash. Just milk.
“God bless the children.”
