AN acid test awaits the Cebu Junior Dragons as they enter uncharted territory when they join the Palawan Rugby Festival at the Puerto Princesa Complex in Palawan this July 22 to 23.

Junior Dragons head coach Maggie Royo recognizes the tough grind ahead, but she is positive that they can put up a great challenge.

“We need a lot of hard work. We have been preparing for this since March because most of the teams in the juniors division are really hard to go up against,” Royo said.

The Junior Dragons who will leave for Palawan this Friday are Khrislord Balbuena, Glenn Regner, Kimwell Dela Cruz, Lance Gallardo, Edison Ablanque, Francis Pasayloon, Nathaniel Ingente, Harie Dano, Melvin Lim, Lorenzo Balbuena, Tomas Sadaya, Mark Precillas and Martin Ablanque.
