RESIDENTS availed free legal services from the USJ-R–School Of Law Advocacy and Community Enrichment (SOLACE), in cooperation with USJ-R–School of Law, at the Lady of Consolation Parish in Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City on Saturday morning.

Services included free legal consultation and free notarial of legal documents like affidavits.

Eighteen new lawyers who graduated from the University of San Jose- Recoletos (USJ-R) rendered free services. Most of them came from the Public Attorney’s Office.

According to SOLACE president Maristela Regidor this is the third consecutive year that they helped the residents of Inayawan.

Most residents sought legal advice regarding their land title, marriage disputes and late registration of birth and misspelled names.

SOLACE was recognized as one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organization in the Philippines in an awarding ceremony held at the Malacañang Palace in January 2016.
