THE University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars will be heading to China at the end of the month to compete in the 3rd Xiamen International University Basketball Tournament from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 in Xiamen, China.

The Jaguars recently placed third in the 17th Cesafi tournament in what was a disappointing end to a once-promising campaign that saw them grab the second seed after the elimination round before getting beaten by the University of Cebu (UC) in the semifinals.

The 12-man team will be led by recently named Cesafi MVP Jaybie Mantilla together with RJ Dinolan, Nelvin Navarra, Miguel Gastador, Tricky Peromingan, JJ Calang, Albert Catiloc, Kido Cabrera, Victor Nunez, Julius Pacanuayan, John Ubalde and newcomer Kenneth Ardiente.

The team will be coached by Jun Noel and assistant Bong Pineda. Team Manager is Rev. Fr. Nestor C. Raras, while Atty. Baldomero Estenzo would be the Head of Delegation.
