FOOD and beverage operators in and out of Cebu will receive updates and training on Food Safety through the “Food Safety Seminar for Food Operators: Upgrading Food Safety in Business” on November 3, 8:30 AM at Hotel Elizabeth, Archbishop Reyes Ave., Cebu City. This will be organized by Green Tree Consultancy Services in partnership with environmental government agencies.
The whole day seminar is specifically designed for restaurant, piggery, seafood, poultry, catering, animal food, vegetable business, food manufacturing and grocery owners and operators as well as wet market suppliers.
Green Tree Consultancy Services Owner and Pioneer Food Safety Consultant Tet Tobes will be addressing current challenges in the food business and facilitate food safety training on food flow, raw meat, seafood and commissary. She is well-recognized by the US National Restaurant Association as one of 7 consultants and academe from the US and Canada as well as the only Asian female member of the ServSafe Food Protection Manager 2015 Certification Examination Review Committee, Chicago. U.S. ServSafe is the recognized food safety standard in North America.
She will also be discussing the environmental impacts of business as per the DENR-EMB 7.
