It’s Christmas or New Year break for police

UNLIKE their counterparts in the National Capital Region (NCR), police personnel assigned at the Police Regional Office (PRO–7) will be allowed to take their Christmas and New Year’s leave.

But Supt. Reyman Tolentin, PRO–7 information officer, said police can either choose to take their leaves either on Christmas or New Year week. The number of police allowed to take their leaves will also be done in batches, he said.

Tolentin said it will be up to the precinct chiefs to decide on this. Police will start taking their leaves on Dec. 19.
