Devotees, vendors not allowed to sleep, sell near Basilica
Devotees will not be allowed to set up tents or sleep near the Basilica Minor del Santo Niño to avoid congestion in the area.
No vendors will be allowed to sell around the vicinity of the Basila Minor del Santo Niño from the start of the novena Mass to the day of the Fiesta Señor.
This was the agreement reached by the members of the first Sinulog inter-agency meeting, earlier today.
The inter-agency is composed of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7), Cebu City Government and the Basilica Officials.
PRO-7 Director Jose Mario Espino said they have yet to Finalize whether or not mobile network signal will be shut down during the fiesta celebration.
