The conclusion to the Mandaue Business Month was an evening of celebration with the Mandaue Chamber Awards Night 2017 at the Oakridge Business Park Cebu last November 24. The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce Industry (MCCI) celebrated positive events and awarded the companies and individuals that made a significant difference in the city of Mandaue.
MCCI President Glenn Soco formally opened the event expressing that it was a special and meaningful night for Mandaue Chamber and for Mandaue City to award exemplary companies and notable individuals with great stories. Soco continued by saying that they were confident that the awardees were chosen beyond question as they have shaped the city and culture of entrepreneurship in Mandaue.
The awardees received trophies designed by Kenneth Cobonpue. The awardees are as follows: Local Product of the year: Bambi Cooking Oil by AD Manufacturing Corporation; National Product of the year: Nature’s Spring; Destination of the year: J Centre Mall; Foreign Investor of the year: HongKong Land (Mandani Bay); Mentor of the year: Ambassador Francisco L. Benedicto; and Posthumous Special Award: Roberto “Bobby” Aboitiz.
The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce Industry has been giving pride and prosperity to the city of Mandaue for 51 years; a testament of how Mandaue City has become an economic center not only in the province of Cebu but even in the country.
