It will not be long before the new building of Cebu City Health will be put to use.

The P20-million building is currently now under construction and is expected to be finished within the year.

Cebu City Councilor Mary Ann delos Santos, deputy mayor for health matters, graced the groundbreaking on February 27, Tuesday morning, together with Department of Health assistant director in Central Visayas (DOH-7) Dr. Sophia Mancao.

Delos Santos promised big changes in the health services provided by the city after the construction of the new building.

“This will change the image of City Health and it will be true to the mantra of the mayor (Tomas Osmeña) That tomorrow is better than today. The building itself can give better tomorrow (since it can give) better service to all constituents of City of Cebu,” Delos Santos said.
