AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-7) regional office arrested two 19-year-old suspected drug dealers at La Guardia Street, Barangay Lahug in Cebu City at past 10 p.m. last Wednesday.

PDEA-7 Information Officer Leah Albiar identified the two suspects as Pauline Marie Palad, a resident of the area and her accomplice Ruel Carpela of Sitio Cabangcalan II, Barangay Bulacao in Cebu City.

Palad is the girlfriend of 28-year-old Alfel Chu who was arrested by PDEA operatives at San Francisco town in Camotes Island, Cebu last Feb. 8.
Chu yielded P2.6 million worth of shabu during the operation.

Also arrested with Chu last Feb. 8 were his cousin James Chu, a warehouse worker named Mark Vincent Jorquia and a certain Ruben Roy Dabatos.
In their latest drug bust, PDEA agents seized from Palad and Carpela 75 grams of shabu worth P375,000.

Both are now detained at the PDEA mini-cell pending the filing of charges against them.
