A 52-year-old man was shot dead beside a store by unidentified men on board a motorcycle in Ponce Street, Barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City on Friday afternoon.
The victim, Danilo Jarantilla, sustained a gunshot wound after one of the assailants fired shots at him five times.
Senior Police Officer 3 Antonio Din of the Cebu City Police homicide section, said that the two culprits wore a facemask and a cap.
Police authorities are now conducting a hot pursuit operation to arrest the assailants and an investigation to determine the motive behind the killing.
