WITH the boom of Cebu’s condo scene and the decreasing unit sizes, a growing concern has slowly emerged for condo-owners – how can you maximize the living space without sacrificing style and comfort? SM Home came up with answers to this dilemma – the SM Home Design Series: The Essentials of Condo Living, featuring talented home and interior designers who bring the best insider tips, tricks and easy-to-learn hacks in making one’s first condo their most beautiful one.
“Since small condos demand creativity when it comes to optimizing space, SM Home has turned to design experts to help highlight ways people can do that in their own homes through a series of condo-like setups, as well as expert-led talks,” said SM Home assistant vice president for marketing, Tom Castañeda.
“There’s no shortage of furniture, accessories and small appliances that are designed specifically for condo living,” shares Tom, “SM Home is filled with compact-yet-stylish and multifunctional pieces that are, what we like to call, ‘condo perfect’!”
It’s no secret that Cebu houses the best names in home decor, so SM Home’s Cebu leg brought a powerhouse of Cebuano design talents such as Maybelline Te, Hannah Lim, Janet Lo-Lee, and Kate Ngo to demonstrate great condo design in an exhibit of styled home vignettes.
Guests were able to view this diverse exposition of home vignettes at the SM Home Design Series: The Essentials of Condo Living exhibit which ran from February 24 to March 8 at the SM City Cebu Northwing Atrium. Cebuanos were also treated to free home design talks from these talented Cebu designers themselves, as they unveiled tips to choosing colors, selecting furniture and hiring design help, as well as secrets to scale, space and sprucing up a starter condominium. /PR
