Around 4,000 families in Mandaue City received grocery packs from Pilipinong May Puso Foundation at Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex on Friday morning.

The distribution was attended by Mayor Luigi Quisumbing, Davao City 1st District Rep. Karlo Nograles and Congressman Mark Sambar of Pwersa ng Bayanihang Atleta (PBA) Pary list.

“We are so blessed as we are one of those which were given projects through the efforts of our friends in the Congress,” Mayor Quisumbing said in Cebuano dialect.

Quimsumbing also thanked Congressman Sambar over his efforts to materialize the dialysis center project, which will offer free check-ups and tests for the residents of Mandaue City.

The center, with a project cost of P30 million, will be built at Mandaue City Hospital. / with CNU Intern Lalaine M. Jurado
