Asian Mountain Bike Championships set in Danao

MAKE way for adrenaline-pumping action as the 24th Asian Mountain Bike and 10th Junior Asian Mountain Bike Championships are slated to take over Danao City, Cebu this May 2 to 7.

The main competition, which will be happening on May 5 and 6, will see 250 confirmed participants from different parts of Asia. Around 19 entries will be representing the Philippines. The route of the competition will start in Brgy. Manlayag Patag, Danao City and will finish in Cogon Cruz, Danao City.

“Why did I support this event? Well, one, it’s an event being held in my hometown so, we’re very proud of that. Second, Biking is a passion of mine and any biking events especially in Danao I’ll always support,” said event presenter 5th District Representative, Congressman Red Durano during a press conference in Maayo Hotel, the event’s official hotel.
