An employee from ambulance service team of the of the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO) tested positive for illegal drug use during the surprise drug test conducted by the City’s Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (COSAP) on Friday (May 25).
This was confirmed by COSAP Chief Garry Lao in a phone interview.
According to Lao, the employee whose result was positive will be terminated immediately.
Lao said that this was the first time for COSAP to conduct a drug test on CCDRRMO workers.
A total of 105 employees underwent the drug test.
