About 7,000 bottles of butane canisters were confiscated by the operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) in a bodega in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City.
Atty. Russ Mark Gamallo said the raid was conducted by a joint operation with the Department of Energy in Central Visayas (DOE-7).
The raid also lead to the arrest of the bodega owner and three minors.
“The operation was conducted after three weeks of monitoring,” said Gamallo.
Seized canisters are all worth P100,000.
